Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Storise ("the app", "we", "us"), a mobile application by kodmap, handles information when you use it on iOS and Android. Storise has no account and no sign-in, and the stories you make are stored on your device.

The short version. Everything you create stays on your phone. We do not ask for your name, email or location, and we do not sell data. The only thing we know about you is whether you have an active Pro subscription.

1. Information we process

  • Stories you make — the links you paste, the text you type, the photos you add, the template and layout you choose, and the saved result. All of this is stored locally on your device in the app's own database. Photos you add to a collage are stored inside that local database as part of the saved story.
  • Photos you choose — when you pick photos, iOS and Android hand the app only the images you selected. Storise does not browse or upload your photo library.
  • Content shared into the app — when you send a link or a photo to Storise from another app's share menu, that content is passed to Storise by the operating system, used to open the matching editor, and then kept only as part of a story you save.
  • Purchase & subscription status — whether you have an active Storise Pro subscription, via RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details; billing is handled entirely by the stores.

2. Links you paste, and what that means

When you paste a link, Storise fetches that page so it can show you a preview — the post text, the artwork, the thumbnail, the title, the counts. That request goes from your device directly to the service that hosts the link (for example a social network, a music service, a video platform, or any website you paste).

Those services can see that a request was made, in the same way they would if you opened the link in a browser. They are not our processors and we do not control what they log. We do not send them your identity, because we do not have it.

3. What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or location. Storise has no account, so there is nothing to sign in to and no profile to build. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Storise does not currently include analytics or crash-reporting services. If that changes in a future version, this policy will be updated before the change ships, and the update will be listed here.

4. Third-party services

Storise relies on these processors, each under their own privacy terms:

  • RevenueCat — subscription management. Receives a pseudonymous app-user identifier and your purchase status. Not your name or email.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing and subscription state.

Sites and services you paste links from are not processors of ours; see section 2.

5. Children

Storise is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

6. Your choices and your data

Because your stories live on your device, you control them directly. Deleting a story removes it. Uninstalling the app removes all of them. See Data Deletion for the full picture, including subscription data.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially — in particular if we add analytics, crash reporting or push notifications — we will update this page and change the date above.
